10 Things Entrepreneurs Know About Money Which Employees Don’t Know

Who are the richest people in the world? Entrepreneurs of course, and that’s for a reason. Entrepreneurs are rich because they know a lot of thing about money which employees don’t. In this post, we’re going to be sharing with you 10 things entrepreneurs know about money which employees don’t.

No. 1 Thing Entrepreneurs Know about Money  is Selling Your Time For Money Is Dumb

An entrepreneur could spend 7 months to create a product. If well accepted by the market, such product can sell all across the country just by duplicating the same product to thousands and millions. As long as this product provides value for the market, the market will continue paying for it. That’s selling value instead of time.

Employees get paid for their time. That’s dumb because we only have very few hours each day. If you want to be rich, learn how to sell value, not time. It’s not as difficult as you think, if you’re willing to learn and take risks.

No. 2 You Can’t Be Rich Using Your Two Hands And One Brain

John C. Maxwell said, “One is too small a number to achieve greatness”. Wealth creation is like a battle, you can’t win a battle as a lone ranger because there are so many skills needed along the way. Entrepreneurs know this and that’s why they don’t try to do it all by themselves. While employees get busy working hard, entrepreneurs get busy building team.

Because they have team, they could leverage on other people’s brain and skills. You can’t be rich trying to create wealth with your two hands and one brain. You must figure out how to get other people to work on your own vision

No. 3 Job Security Is A Myth

job security is a myth

One of the lies many people were sold is the lie of “job security”, a situation where a company takes care of you for 30 years and still pays you till you die.

People who decide to be entrepreneurs know that the only security they can trust is the security that comes from their own creation. No one can secure your future, except you do.

No. 4 Governments Hate Employees Maybe that’s not the right words to use.

Let’s use a more friendly words; government love the employees to be poor. Well, what I’m getting into is the fact that governments tax employees more than entrepreneurs and investors. In many parts of the world, employees pay as high as 20-40% income tax while entrepreneurs pay 10-20 or even zero in some cases.

Governments favor entrepreneurs because they know they are the ones solving problems, creating jobs and improving the economy. Entrepreneurs know this and use it to their advantage to legally pay less or no tax.

No. 5 You Need Freedom To Be Happy Study shows that 85% of employees hate their jobs.

Maybe that’s not completely true. Maybe more people actually don’t hate their jobs but the bondage their jobs bring. As human being, for you to be happy, you need freedom. This doesn’t mean that entrepreneurs spend all their days at golf clubs.

In fact, most entrepreneurs work harder than their employees but they have the liberty to work at their own time. For instance I work 12-14 hours most days but I don’t have the resumption or closing time. I can decide to resume at my office by 12Pm or 7am and I can decide to close or avoid work any day.

This freedom makes you happy and entrepreneurs know this. Kevin O’Leary said, If you want freedom, work for yourself. I’ll say, “If you want happiness, work for yourself”

No. 6. Pain Before Pleasure Is Better Than Pleasure Before Pains.

So many people in the world think it’s not easy to be entrepreneur and I agree. But it’s not easy to be anything else, does it? If I have my life to live again, I’ll still be entrepreneur. The problem most people have is that they make excuses. Some say they don’t have capital.

Some say the economy is bad. Some blame the government. In fact, some say “Not everyone can be entrepreneur” and we agree. Not everyone should be entrepreneur but if you think you have what it takes, go for it! If you really understand what it means to be in control of your life and have more money than you need, you’ll stop making excuses and do whatever it takes to build your own business.

If you get a job, your life may be easy for many years but you’ll remain a broke person. If you decide to be an entrepreneur, your life will be difficult for few years but you’ll end up with freedom and wealth. Entrepreneurs know that it’s better to go through pain now and pleasure latter than to endure the entire life.

No. 7. No One Truly Cares About You

I’ve heard many people complaining about the corporate mafias. Many people hate their employers. Others think their CEO doesn’t care about them. Well, nobody does. The day you need someone to pay your bills in exchange for your obedience to him is the day you sell a significant part of your right.

Entrepreneurs know this. They know that they can’t trust their lives and future in the hand of another man and this inspires them to go through whatever they have to go through to build their own businesses. Stop expecting people to be kind. Instead, deliver yourself from their hands.

No. 8 Technologies Are For Problem Solving And Money Making

Almost every employee I know use technologies for their pleasure. They love the phones, the cars, the internet, the social media, etc. and spend hours consuming them. Entrepreneurs have a better understanding, they use technologies to create wealth. Entrepreneurs use internet, social media and every technology you can think of to create wealth. Stop thinking like a consumer. Start thinking like a creator.

No. 9. Not Taking Risk Is Risky.

I remember starting out in the business world, I was aware of the implications of my decision yet I knew that not taking risks at that time is the real risk. Every entrepreneur knows this. Not taking risk is risky. Listen. If you keep your life, you’ll lose it. If you are willing to lose your life for what you believe, you’ll gain it.

No. 10. It’s Not Destiny But A Choice

Most people wish to be entrepreneurs but some think it’s by luck, others think it’s by being born by rich parents, some think it’s pure destiny. Well, it’s none of the above. Instead, it’s by choice. People who become entrepreneurs choose to be. It’s that simple. You can be a successful entrepreneur if you’ll decide to be. Do we say it’s easy? Far from it. It’s tough and difficult but it brings you freedom and wealth.

How do entrepreneurs differ from employers?

How do entrepreneurs differ from employers

They are people who see opportunity in every problem or any challenges, they are totally responsible for whatever result of their actions. They mainly focus on getting people to work for them as return of salary or wages the workers usually collect. In a nutshell, they take every decisions all alone as they see themselves as a boss unlike entrepreneurs.
